Carefully unbox your Ledger hardware wallet and verify that all components are intact and sealed. Connect your device to your computer or mobile device using the provided USB cable. Power on your Ledger device and follow the on-screen instructions to set up a new wallet. You'll be prompted to choose a secure PIN code between four and eight digits. This phrase represents complete access to your funds, so treat it with the highest level of security.

You can install apps for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and thousands of other cryptocurrencies. Start receiving funds by generating addresses through Ledger Live, and always verify addresses on your device screen before confirming transactions.
